High School Juniors can win a weeklong trip to Washington DC June 13-18, 2023 with the Youth Tour.
The contest is open to high school juniors whose parents or legal guardians are an active CDEC account holders.
Contestants are also required to complete the applications form and submit a 500 to 750 word essay, addressing the following topic:
"President Joe Biden signed the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 (IRA) into law on Aug. 16, 2022. How will its energy-related provisions benefit or hurt rural Americans in the coming years?"
All Submissions will be judged on content, clarity, overall presentation and factualness. Application deadline is due 5 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2022.
